Dry In
The building now has siding and a roof - we have achieved “dry-in”. Next stop - Tyvek vapor barrier, then brick!
A Theater
We’re also getting the beginnings of walls up in the second floor of the building. You can start to visualize the size and space of the theater.
…and classrooms too
With sprinkler pipe, duct work and metal studs for walls going up, it’s starting to look like classrooms on the first floor!
Updates: Roof and Walls
Lots has happened since last week. A first layer of the roof has begin taking shape. And the first exterior walls are going up. It’s starting to look like a Family Theater!
Joists
Workers are installing those pesky floor joists (shown below in gray) that caused the delay last month. Lots of spot welds to make.
We Have Steel
Steel is going up fast! As of Tuesday afternoon there was little activity on the site. This was the scene Friday morning. A little steel goes a long way in showing the scope of this project.

Foundation Complete
